Fitment: 2014 and 2018 Models
MY2014: Our upgrade isn't compatible with early 2014 models featuring the raised, standalone "tombstone" tweeters. Jeep switched to recessed coaxial speakers midyear.
MY2018: Jeep produced both JK and JL Wranglers in 2018. If your dash has round speaker grilles, this upgrade is for you. If they’re rectangular, order our Wrangler JL upgrade.

6061 Aluminum Cone Medium - Lively midbass response across the lower midrange frequencies and balanced, accurate transient response in the higher midrange frequencies. Seamlessly blend with our 20mm tweeters.
Curvilinear Cone Design - Allows optimal wide dispersion of the midrange frequencies and exceptional off-axis response given location. Maintains rigidity at high output which minimizes distortion.
Custom Tooled Composite Baskets - Composite baskets create an acoustically dead surface on which to attach the components of the speakers, further isolating resonance from the surrounding panels and the driver itself.
Inverted Santoprene Surrounds - Precise control of cone movement within the motor. Optimal dispersion as sound moves into the soundstage. Impervious to the elements.

Our 20mm silk dome tweeters bring warmth and vibrancy, perfectly paired with our midrange drivers. The challenge? Designing a sleek, factory-inspired mounting solution. Enter our reimagined grilles: the tweeters are housed in machined 6061 aluminum, drawing inspiration from the polished rings around your gauge cluster for a seamless, high-quality fit and finish.
Woven Silk Domes - Selected for optimal high frequency response given the tweeter's location, silk delivers a smooth, detailed, warm presence of frequencies above 1.8kHz.
Ferrofluid Cooled Voice Coils - Allows us to keep the tweeter cool given their location atop the dash coupled with controlling the heat generated by voice coil's movement.
Machined 6061 Aluminum Housings - Hand burnished. Flawless finish. A stable, neutral medium in which to house the tweeter itself. Aesthetic perfection.
Polymer Rubber Surrounds - Precise dome control at high outputs and extends dynamic range. Eliminates sibilance, the harshness associated with "S" and "SH" sounds that exist between 5kHz and 10kHz.
Plug and Play Connectors - Strategically designed PnP connectors that securely connect the tweeters to the midrange drivers. Allow for future expansion of audio system without cutting wires.

Does it matter if I have Alpine or the Standard audio?
After years of testing various harness configurations and with over 20,000 speakers sold, we've perfected a single harness that seamlessly works with both Alpine and Standard audio-equipped Wranglers. Rest assured, your Audio Uprising upgrade will deliver exceptional sound quality—even if you decide to move it to a new Wrangler down the road!
Will the speakers make my stereo sound louder?
While our speakers don’t add extra power to your system (so they won’t technically make your stereo "louder"), they’ll make your music sound clearer and better at higher volumes. Here's why:
