While the Front SoundStage upgrade doesn't require adding more power, larger mid-bass drivers, or subwoofers, you will experience a significant boost in bass response and overall sound clarity after installing your Audio Uprising upgrades.

There are two main reasons for this:

Improved Balance:  When we upgrade the Front SoundStage, we address the primary source of distortion from the factory speakers.  This helps "level the playing field" with the larger mid-bass drivers and subwoofers in the factory system.  As a result, the overall sound becomes more balanced, especially at higher volume levels.

Better Bass Clarity: The Audio Uprising upgrades are designed to handle more power, allowing for cleaner, distortion-free sound at higher volumes, offering enhanced sound clarity compared to the factory speakers they replace.  This allows your system to produce deeper, cleaner bass, with mid-bass drivers and subwoofers capable of delivering louder, distortion-free sound.  As a result, you’ll not only hear the improvement in bass quality but also feel it more vividly, as the upgraded components excel at handling higher volumes with greater precision and control.

While our speakers don’t add extra power to your system (so they won’t technically make your stereo "louder"), they’ll make your music sound clearer and better at higher volumes.

We can’t stress this enough: it takes at least 2-3 hours of listening for the speakers to fully break in.  Think of it like a first date – go easy at first, and the magic will happen.  Play at moderate to moderately loud levels, and let the speakers find their groove.

What exactly is “breaking in” a speaker?

During the break-in process, key components like the surrounds, spiders, cones, and domes adjust to the movement required to create sound.  These materials soften, warm up, and settle into their optimal form, allowing the speakers to perform at their best.

As they do, your music will come to life with brilliant, detailed sound, just the way we intended.  Patience pays off—let your speakers break in, and you’ll experience the full potential of your new sound system.

We make it easy:  

1. Install your new speakers
2. Ensure all settings on your radio/source unit are set to flat, and all device EQ modes are set to "off" or "flat”
3. Audition them for 2 to 3 hours to break in the speakers using our Spotify playlist and your favorite tunes 
4. Enjoy your music like never before!

But trust us, installation takes just 15 to 20 minutes, and once you follow the steps to audition them, you won't even consider sending them back!

Unless damage to a speaker/griller occurred during installation or you mistook your speakers for rocks and threw them at a passing wild boar, we'll cover all shipping costs in the event a speaker is problematic in any way. If you caused damage during installation, of course you'll be responsible for all costs including speaker(s), grilles, and shipping.

The warranty is non-transferable. If you're buying or selling used speakers, that's par for the course.

While every vehicle is a little different, your kit has everything to get the job done—no extra trips required.  Just open the box, grab the tools, and you’ll be up and running in under 20 minutes.  Simple, fast, and hassle-free.  Let’s get to work!

1. Pop off the grille over the installed midrange speaker
2. Check if the tweeter wiring harness is touching the top of the midrange speaker
3. Tuck the tweeter wiring so that it’s positioned away from the top of the midrange driver, ensuring it doesn't touch or interfere with the midrange speaker
4. Test the sound BEFORE snapping the grille back on
5. If the distortion is gone, you’re good to go
6. Reinstall the grille
7. Rock on!

The 2024+ JL Wrangler and JT Gladiator have a small change in the sub-dash assembly on the driver’s side.  

To install your new midrange driver, you'll need to slightly rotate the driver's side midrange after placing it in the cavity so the plug on the basket tucks securely under the lip.
