Jeep Front SoundStage Install

Installation of our new Audio Uprising Front SoundStage Speaker Upgrade should take 15 to 20 minutes, and the tools you'll need are already included in the box.

STEP 1 - FACTORY GRILLE REMOVAL

Using the enclosed panel puller tool, remove factory speaker grille. There will be four (4) clips holding it in place, two (2) on left side and two (2) on the right side.

STEP 2 - FACTORY SPEAKER REMOVAL

Remove the two (2) screws holding the factory speaker in place using the enclosed 7mm bit. Then, lift the speaker up from the sub-dash assembly and unplug the speaker from the factory harness.

STEP 3 - CONNECT UPGRADE TOGETHER

Plug the Audio Uprising grille with the preinstalled tweeter into the Audio Uprising midrange driver.

STEP 4 - CONNECT TO FACTORY

Plug the factory harness directly into the basket on the Audio Uprising midrange driver.

STEP 5 - INSTALL IN DASH

Lower the midrange into the dash while tucking the harness into the negative space below the midrange, leaving the junction plug of the tweeter and midrange below the midrange. Using the factory screws, attach the Audio Uprising midrange driver back to the dash.

For 2024 or newer models, on the driver’s side, rotate the midrange driver slightly clockwise once it’s in place in the dash to align the screw holes. The plug on the midrange driver should fit under the top lip of the subdash assembly.

STEP 6 - GRILLE INSTALLATION

Taking careful note to insure tweeter wiring is contained within the perimeter of the reimagined grille, and NOT making contact with the area directly above the midrange, simply snap the grille back into place.

STEP 7 - ENJOY YOUR MUSIC

That's it! Enjoy listening to your favorite music like you've never heard it before in your Jeep. Also, we can’t stress this enough: it takes at least 2-3 hours of listening for the speakers to fully break in.

Think of it like a first date – go easy at first, and the magic will happen.  Play at moderate to moderately loud levels, and let the speakers find their groove. During the break-in process, key components like the surrounds, spiders, cones, and domes adjust to the movement required to create sound.  These materials soften, warm up, and settle into their optimal form, allowing the speakers to perform at their best.

As they do, your music will come to life with brilliant, detailed sound, just the way we intended.  Patience pays off—let your speakers break in, and you’ll experience the full potential of your new sound system.
